Miss Universe U.S Virgin Islands has arrived in Bangkok, Thailand after three plus months of preparation for the 67th Miss Universe pageant airing on December 16, 2018 on Fox.
Aniska has joined more than ninety other women from numerous countries all over the world for preliminary activities ahead of the big show. She will participate in sponsor photo shoots, outings and preliminary swimsuit, evening gown and national costume competitions.
Ahead of her departure, Aniska took some time to share her thoughts on her Miss Universe journey on instagram:
"Being able to walk on that Miss Universe stage would mean nothing if it couldn't be done representing my home and my territory. My dream has already come true because I get to carry my territory on my shoulders, proudly."
A pageant veteran and two-time representative of the U.S Virgin Islands prior to this year, Aniska is no stranger to immersing herself into new cultures and getting to know new people. At a Monday outing to the Wat Arun temple in Thailand she had the opportunity to receive a blessing of luck and favor from temple monks. She's also been able to meet and greet pageant fans who have traveled from places like the Philippines just to meet their favorite titleholders from across the world.
